BASALT
Basalt is a natural stone that forms as a result of volcanic eruptions. It appears mostly dark grey or black. When it’s cut it still maintains its shape and surface. It has a homogeneous structure. It doesn’t expose any smell that’s why basalt is preferred by many day by day. As a result of basalt being easy to find, its area of usage is increasing. It’s used to do cladding, road flooring, bridge material, historical buildings, railroad tracks, asphalt etc. Also because of its high heat resistance we can see it used in boiler rooms, heat isolations, stack gas canals and bread ovens. It has high resistance to difficult weather conditions. It has a water absorption feature. Basalt also transfers to internationally by harbors.
